Think I'm going to have to switch to the cross-training set up on here. I went for a swim for the first time in about 2 years. Did lengths for 50 minutes- was a great workout! Forgot how much I enjoyed swimming- its nice to break up regular training and give the legs a break while still getting a good cardio worout. I did some light weights afterwards- ab workout plus worked the quads and hamstrings with high rep sets.
I have not the slightest idea how far I went in the pool- counting it as 6 miles for the time and intensity. |
