Tried something different with the swim today- did a easy warmup for about 10-15 minutes and then did 4X100m as hard as I could stand it. Was REALLY breathing hard at the end of each one. Great V)2 max workout. Did a few easy laps in between sets. Finished off with 10 minute cool down- 45 minutes all together.
Starting to notice my system is really getting adjusted to 40-60 minutes of exercise per day. Not really feeling burned out or low on energy although I do sleep like a log at night...do logs sleep? I've set a goal for the upcoming month to increase my mileage to the 35-40 mile range on average. |
