Was still feeling a little dragged out from the catering but went to the gym anyways. Did a 40 minute swim and then hopped in the treadmill for 4 miles. Did a couple of 1/2 mile pickups- not at my usual speed. Not a really hard workout but glad I got back into the swing of things. The achilles wasn't bothering me at all during the pickups which was great. One goal I have in the short term is to get out to the track for some short distance speedwork. I'll likely start it this week. |
