Hard tempo run on the treadmill. Followed it up with weight circuit training for 25 minutes.

This is the first week in some time my milege has hit the 40 mile/60km mark. Part of it is swimming and biking but regardless, my conditioning threshold is increasing. A few months ago 25-30 miles plus weights through the week was exhausting by the time I hit the weekend. Right now, I'm feeling great. Even with a couple of hard runs, swims and a hard bike ride through the week!

March mileage has averaged out to 32 miles/week=51km/week with higher intensity.

February was averaged out at 31miles/week=50km/week with less intensity.

Fun,

I am ready to taper finally.

Today's long run was not a confidence booster but I would rather get it out of the way now then Boston. I really think my 2 pb's Mon and Tue plus a bit of a cold has drained me.

See you soon

Todd
